The highlight of the British tennis calendar, Wimbledon, has left plenty to talk about in the British game including a rising star, who made her mark in the junior event.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Laura Robson
July’s Player of the Month is unsurprisingly Laura Robson, the girls Wimbledon singles champion. LTA Head of Women’s Tennis, Carl Maes, had the following to say about Laura:
“This is a great achievement for a 14 year old player and is a great boost to her coach Martijn Bok and the other members of Laura’s interdisciplinary team at the National Tennis Centre, namely physiotherapist Sophie Scott and Strength and Conditioning Coach Steve Kotze.
Laura is a tremendously professional young player with a fantastic work ethic and great parental support. Her complete interdisciplinary programme is an indication of the new dimension that Women’s tennis has moved to in the last 10 years. Players like Clijsters and Henin were not working in the same professional way as Laura is now and I am confident that the great support team around her led by Martijn and her mum will keep her feet firmly on the ground and help her make a successful transition into senior tennis.” Laura's full profile.

BTM SUITES A BIG HIT AT WIMBLEDON
The BTM Upper and Lower Suites made their debut at the Championships this year, providing British Tennis Members with exclusive dining on their days out at Wimbledon.
Guests in the BTMS Upper were treated to appearances by Annabel Croft and Jamie Murray while the BTMS Lower was a hive of activity, with hundreds of guests being catered for throughout the fortnight.
BLACKROCK MASTERS – EXCLUSIVE TICKET DISCOUNT
