One of the biggest ever Club Championships with over 200 entrants across the various competitions will be hitting the tennis courts over the next few weeks.
The draws have been made for the highlight of the tennis calendar, sponsored once again by Howard Wright Financial Planning, with matches now set to begin ahead of Finals Weekend over June 29/30.
Once again several events have different graded draws ensuring competitors face matches against others of a similar standard.
There will also be several plate competitions for competitors who lose their initial first match.
The Mixed Doubles finals will take place on the evening of Friday, June 29th, with the remaining finals taking place on Saturday, June 30th, followed by an evening event including DJ Clayton Edge.
The popular ‘Charlie’s Burger Van’ will also be at the club during the finals weekend for those all-important refreshments.
There is also the return of the famous – or infamous to those who saw this last year – Facebook Doubles Pair competition with pairs asked to post a creative and cool photo with a bottle of Prosecco up for grabs for the winners.
“We’ve had an amazing 212 entrants across all the events, which has got to be one the biggest club championships entries ever,” says Everypoint Rackets Manager Paul Hodgetts.
“The tennis committee have done a fantastic job of planning this year’s event to make it special and encouraging so many of you to play in 2018.
“Good luck to all the players who are taking part – and enjoy your matches!”
