The club were delighted to host visits from the local media this Monday morning, marking the first day of Wimbledon.

First of all highly-rated Performance Junior Henry Trump and his Mum Emma were interviewed by Nina Das Gupta from the BBC WM Breakfast Show.  Click here and listen from 1.47.00 to listen to the interview, which ended with Henry firing down one of his serves for Nina to try and return!

Operations Manager Marc Hughes was also interviewed by Nina, talking about his role at WLTSC, memories of playing at Wimbledon and how the club is trying to make tennis accessible to all. Click here and listen from 2.47.30.

Then it was the turn of the Express & Star to pay a visit, with Wolves reporter Tim Spiers and Video Editor Nathan Judah popping down and taking to the grass courts.  Everypoint Rackets Manager Paul Hodgetts was on hand to offer a few tips to the two guys, who admitted that they were not exactly tennis regulars.  Click here to view the resulting video.

It was great to show the club off to the local media and a reminder of the current membership offer available to new members.  A total of 15 months’ membership for the price of 12 if purchased before August 31st.*

Hope all WLTSC members attending Wimbledon over the next fortnight have a great time!
