Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club are hoping to get more people from the city getting active this summer by holding a taster open day and offering a discounted membership offer if taken up during the month of May.

The Newbridge-based club is opening its doors for people to enjoy a free fitness session and/or racket sports on the morning of Bank Holiday, May 27th, with everyone welcome.

And, during the month of May, an offer is available for anyone over the age of 18 who has not previously been a member to enjoy three months membership with access to all of the club’s facilities for just £100.

“We are delighted to once again be getting involved in the LTA’s Nature Valley Big Tennis weekend, with everyone welcome to come down on the morning of May 27th,” said WLTSC’s Operations Manager Marc Hughes.

“There will be a fitness session, and then a chance to play tennis, squash and racketball, as well as an opportunity to take a look around the facilities and chat to coaches and members.

“From performance players to social players, of all ages and abilities, we genuinely are an all-inclusive club with a thriving social and community spirit which I think people really enjoy once they have joined.

“We would love to see more and more people from the local area getting involved in sport, staying healthy and meeting new people, and that is why we are putting on this fantastic membership offer which will offer access to all the facilities and a chance for people who maybe don’t know us to see the variety of what is available at WLTSC.”

Anyone can sign up for the Open morning by visiting this link on the LTA’s Club Spark site or – and this includes signing up for the membership offer – by contacting the club on (01902) 755265 or by emailing club@wltsc.com
